Introduction
The Research Management Centre (RMC) MAHSA University, Malaysia manages the research activities of MAHSA University. It is headed by Professor Tan Sri Dr M Jegathesan, Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Research and Medical Education and is located at the Department of Biomedical Sciences of the university.
The RMC’s overall function is to :
- Promote a research culture
- Build research capacity
- Promote research activities through staff development programmes and research meetings
- Manage research activities at MAHSA through:
- the vetting of research proposals
- the monitoring of approved research projects
- liaison with external agencies in research matters
