MAHSA Physiotherapy Clinic
Brief Overview
The MAHSA Physiotherapy Centre aims to provide affordable physiotherapy services to the public. Established in August 2009 and located conveniently in the heart of Petaling Jaya, it is easily accessible to the public.
It is set up to be a model of practice for all students to follow. It also functions as a training centre for the physiotherapy students. Scopes of practice include musculoskeletal, sport physiotherapy, neurology and post-surgery among others.
Services
Physiotherapists provide rehabilitation training and holistic assessments of patients. Treatment is patient-centered. As such, it is carefully planned and implemented according to the individual patients’ needs. Patient’s functional ability will be given importance throughout treatment.
Service at the MAHSA Physiotherapy Centre is quality-based and non-profit. Physiotherapists provide individual attention for each patient. The duration of each session is scheduled accordingly, based on the severity of each case.
The centre also provides services to those interested in using the equipment for other purposes such as general strengthening, endurance training and maintenance of general physical fitness.
The physiotherapy centre is equipped with a good range of physiotherapy equipment and it is very spacious to ensure the comfort of patients.
Hours
- Monday – Friday* : 8.30am – 5pm
- Saturday* : 8.30am – 1pm
*We are open during lunch hour
Our centre is appointment based only to ensure efficient time management. First time patients are also required to make an appointment for their first assessment.
Patients are required to give a minimum of 24 hours notice for any cancellations or changes for appointments. Failure to do so may result in being charged for the missed appointment.

**The subsidised charges per session are within the means of many patients and the quality of treatment is assured. MAHSA staff and students are given free treatment.
