The MAHSA Physiotherapy Centre established in August 2009 aims to provide affordable physiotherapy services to the public and a self- contain clinical placement center for the physiotherapy students. The scopes of practice include musculoskeletal, sport physiotherapy and neurology. It is conveniently located and easily accessible to the public, next to University Malaya at Jalan Elmu, off Jalan University.
Since its inception, MAHSA Physiotherapy Center had over 500 patients registered and treated with the greatest number came with musculoskeletal, sports, neurological conditions. and post surgery.
The MAHSA physiotherapy Center is set up to be a model of practice for all students to follow. The physiotherapists employed are expected to provide full assessment of patients and treatment is carefully planned and implemented. The service is not profit oriented but quality is the main priority.
The center is equipped with a good range of physiotherapy equipments and it is very spacious for the comfort of patient. There are three car parks allocated for the patients and easily accessible. Each patient usually attends for 8 – 10 sessions before discharge; few require longer period of physiotherapy for maintenance to prevent complications especially those with severe musculoskeletal disorders and neurological cases.
The patients come by appointment basis so there is no waiting time. In the near future the physiotherapy center will expand its services to include Pediatric Neurology.
Service Fee
The subsidized charge per session is within the means of many patients and quality treatment is assured. MAHSA staff, students and OKU card holders are given free treatment.

Monday – Friday: 8:30am – 5:00pm
Saturday: 8:30am – 1:00pm
