Brief Overview
The Lions Eye Clinic at MAHSA University is the first Lions Eye Clinic in Malaysia. It is conveniently located on MAHSA University’s (Jalan University campus) premises.
It was set up by the Lions Club International (District 308-B1, Malaysia) and officially opened on 7th February, 2009 by Y.B. Datuk Seri Leow Tiong Lai, the Malaysian Minister of Health. This significant event was also witnessed by MAHSA’s Pro-Chancellor and Executive Chairman, Datuk Dr. Haniffa, District Governor, Dr. JP. Kamalanathan, and International Vice President, Sid Scruggs.
Services
We provide consultation services, treat all types of eye ailments as well as perform cataract and other minor surgeries.
Services are non-profit and available to all.
Fees
Consultation:
- RM30 (first session)
- RM20 (follow-up)
(All medication will be charged separately)
Cataract Operation : RM2000* (regular)
*Fee is subsidized accordingly for the needy and members of old folks homes and waived for the poor.
Hours
Office Administration:
Monday – Friday : 9am – 5pm
Consultation (Clinic) :
Wednesday & Friday : 9am – 12pm
Operations:
Wednesday & Thursday : 2pm – 5pm
Closed on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays.
Our clinic is appointment based. However, we do accept walk-ins for minor eye ailments.
