Welcome to the Student Affairs Office (SAO). We are committed to giving excellent services to the students.
We will endeavour to work with and through you to make your university life a memorable one. Along with a team of staff and student leaders, we have designed activities to ease you into the campus life which is both exciting and at times stressful. It is the start of an exciting journey where we will introduce you to MAHSA’s campus life and the excellent resources, facilities and opportunities that are awaiting you.

The Student Affairs Office seeks to provide professional advice, care, relevant and cost effective, coherent educational programs to the students.
The DVC of Student’s Affairs is responsible for the overall management of all units in the Student Affairs Office. The DVC also acts as liaison between the Vice-Chancellor’s Office, the other DVC’s, Deans in matters relating to student affairs.
You are strongly encouraged to participate in the diversity of student clubs, societies, and committees and to be part of the vibrant student life. University life is a great way to meet people and make life long friends besides providing the playing fields for you to develop skills in leadership and teamwork, and social responsibility to prepare you for your future roles in society. Through leadership roles and activities such as sports, cultural activities, event management and community services, you will grow in confidence and acquire life long skills.
In fact my view is that while the overall aim is for you to pursue your dreams in the disciplines of your choice, university education should provide the culture for good citizenship, global partnership and to educate yourself in an ever changing environment.
Please feel free to address your concerns or queries to our office and we shall attend to it promptly.
